Christian Vinceneux occupational therapist and a parent coach
Hi, I'm Christian Vinceneux

A neurodivergent coach serving neurodiverse families

As a kid, I often felt different. I was curious, imaginative, and deeply empathetic, but I was also forgetful, anxious, easily distracted, and often unsure where I fit in. I wanted to connect with others, yet frequently felt socially awkward. Teachers often told me I was capable of more than I was showing.

Growing up in a neurodiverse family shaped the way I understood the people around me. I became increasingly aware of how sensory experiences, emotions, and everyday environments could affect wellbeing in ways that often went unnoticed by others.

When I started working with neurodivergent children, I realized how much I had in common with many of them. It wasn't until years later, after gaining more knowledge and self-awareness, that I realized I was neurodivergent too. Looking back, I can clearly see how my own experiences, combined with growing up in a neurodiverse family, shaped the way I understand and support others.

I've also come to understand how my neurodivergence has shaped my personality, relationships, and career. This understanding has helped me let go of much of the shame I once carried while also recognizing and appreciating the strengths that are part of my neurodivergence.
